Its a new year... 2009
Happy New Year

Eve was alright... a day in church.... had dinner with Wei Chin...
She was LATe =.= SUPER late...
To her future boyfriend.. beware...
I was so bored I decided playing with my plushie in the car

Ok supposedly I got one of this zebra for my mom... but it was so cute..
so I decided to get one for my self.. so yeah this little dude is mine ;)

Hmm I decided to name this fella Bo.. and my mom's zebra Do... so together they are...
*drum rolls*

Supposedly wanted to be Satanic and not go to church.. but went in the end anyways...

Step 12 : Round 4 of dinners and food

Christmas gifts part 2....

We had a Youth Christmas Celebration barbecue
Not really much food lar....
Evening off to Ben Ong's Christmas Party....
there technically I did not eat much aso so yeah
1st step to loosing weight... do not eat so much ;)

Christmas eve, 2 am
Heavy snow is falling down
And the streets clothed in white
Echo songs that were sung by candlelight

Step 11 : More food....

Yet another Christmas dinner.... but this one is power pack wan...


The Ribs had excellent flavour... however it was very fatty...
texture was nicely tender...
with a very mild blood spike flavour giving that nice rich beef flavour
Service sucked.... price was on the high side...
so yeah....
would have tried the escargots if it wasn't my mom's friend who wanted to buy the dinner

Now here a story for many to read and understand....

Once there lived 2 best friends(A and B)
both loved God... both served together in church... doing their best....
As they were growing up... both tried to share Christ with their friends....
They both shared the same group of friends....

B's ways were more harsh and more direct...
where he would literally preach and tell of things as if they were a matter of life and death
A however... was more a passive person....
A never really approached the friends with direct truth....
these friends never understood the Heart of Jesus
These friend were a heavy Buddhist community...
and could not accept the Gospel anyways... A and B failed....

Down the years.... A met up with these friends once again...Chatters and laughter all round the table... B was not around and no where to be found... The friends on the other hand... remembered B as a crazy person and a strong Christian...

A was just another friend... A never got the courage to share.... A never mentioned about Christ to any of these people.. the time may come... when... maybe never ... maybe now?? maybe tomorrow...

Now which of these lives would / should we live by.... an open opportunity for God to be shared.... or merely a friend who was always there....

Its a story with many variables.... a lot of possibilities... but the way I see it... B made the better moves... He was Now or Never.... he did not wait... he did not let the opportunity pass...

If all were to answer to God now...
A would not be able to answer to why he never stepped out...
B though regraded as crazy can say..
hey... I tried.... sorry I did not succeed

Step 10 : Eat Eat Eat =.=

So yes... 2nd dinner in 2 days.... and in about another hours time I'll be endulging in some sinful food.. Steaks and what not in Victoria Station o.O
Here I am trying to loose weight.. but kan... failing badly lar >.<... ow well...

Last night was at Aunty Eva's place.... Big house... has its own fountain... and tv room.. and a lot lar... its really nice...
SO this aunty invited my mom for dinner.. the amount of food was just ok.. but right...

Check that out wei.... Fresh Oysters...
who servers fresh oysters in an open house....
And here I was digging into 2 very fresh and nice oysters....
Could have taken more.. but did not dare too.. I mean..
Absolute sinfullness >.<

I had 3 full plates of lamb... it was nicely roasted...
tender and haha FAT lo me..... >.<

Ow well... More to come ;)

I'm sorry for freaking out... its just really weird for me though I kinda knew and it wasn't much of a surprise...

Step 9 : Its Christmas Day =)

The time of the year were everyone creates lists

budgets for friends whom they wanna buy things for and what not....


Last night was Kevin's House warming/ Christmas Part...
loads of Lamb... and.. pork... siew yoke...


Super stuff....
We tried our best to eat all the food we could... really ;)
SOrry I didn't shoot the food cause I was busy eating much =)
However....
Haha she's gonna kill me if she sees this =p... or at least I think she will...

On a random thought... I got this gut feeling something going on... its like a sense tingling.. =.= ...
Owh owh owh .. spidey senses... =)... hahhaa ...

hmm but really... somethings disturbing .. I wonder what.... Hmmmmm ow well....

Step 8 : Youth Camp - Part3

Camp was really fun.... had a great time with those whom I never really knew....
Was such an experience shooting for camp...
Technically my first erm... set of shots... o.O


Surely a camp to remember ....

Spiritually not so much of a wow....
but in terms of training and learning about well...
younger ones... it was the camp....
It felt like a test .... of our courage to step out as leaders and as to take car of younger ones ;)


Did a lot of crazy stuff in camp... Really wan... especially on the last night...
Yes will remember the events that occurred
on the last night during patrol for a LOOONG time haha

moving on... This gal... Yin Mun... kononnyer she very tired tau...
but then still posing posing when I simply aimed the camera at her hahaha....

Ok to end the camp posts of pictures and brief explanation of what's been going on... I would have to say Amen to God for working through us ... the young people were blessed and challenged to make their stand worth wild...

Step 7 : Youth Camp - Part2

Ok the spiritual part of camp....

Day 1
The main issue at hand was the stand which we make.... THE Stand sums the entire session up

What Do You Stand For??
What Defines Your Life?
What Separates You from others??

5 things to stand against
Pressure of the moment
Convenient excuses
Deceptive arguments
For God's truth
Stand where others fall

Day 2
Main issue was purity... the right relationships in life

Ordained by God and endorsed by God empowered people....
A lot to stand against in keeping pure....
Sexual stuff.... wrong relationships.... and so forth...
I think explanation is not too necessary

Day3
Once again making a stand against impurities.... the story of Daniel in the book of David... and how he refused the pleasures of life and was delivered ... the main question was what was your calling in life??

The question of what is the name that God has called you to be??

Daniel means God my judge
Mishael means who is what God is...

What has God called you to be??
Who has God called you to be?? A Daniel??
or wad else could he have called you to be?? a flame?? An Evangelist? A pastor??
A friend??

Owhkay I admit by this point of camp... I some how lost focus to what was being preached cause it became so distant to me....

Why?? Cause I do know who I am.... what I'm called to do...
The main questions which I had and still is un answered up till now still remains so .. yeah....

Day 4
Basically surrendering to God's will and going out to make a difference and all that...
I summarised everything so yeah....

The main thing I learned this camp is that God still works... marvelously and graciously...
Despite the responsibilities.... he pulled me through....
The biggest challenge was worship leading a bunch of new people...
I really didn't know how to react.... Really... but I thank God he still did what he needed to do....

Step 6 : Youth Camp - Part1

This Is Now...
camp was ok....
this portion will be about the physical part of camp...
non spiritual details....

Quite a good camp despite the availability of major set backs....
A lot of very young kids.... I mean really young.. some of them still unknown to me o.O

hahah.....

This camp I was the following...

Those where the 'official' positions lar.. the not so official one is alter worker ... that's about it...
Hmm the amout of DSLRs at camp.... there was:

Eos 450D - Pamela I think

A bunch of Digital Ixus... and 1 PowerShot SX10 I think.. not too sure...


Session were ok.. rooms were mad.... Hot water some times got some times don't have
Air Cond was some times freezing some times fine...
Toilet bowl... flush things float back up o.O scary wan I tell you
Equipment got stolen... 2 Guitars... 1 effects paddle... 1 Lcd Monitor... 2 wireless mic... 1 wired mic...
Stupid thieves....
Well despite everything... we still enjoyed =)
1 Car consisting of Adrian Chew, Emmy Toh, Kevin Chan, Kuan Jee lian came from Kl on the third night... and we all had fun.... =)


Such a memorable camp.... Names of people I've gotten to know better through camp...
er.... this will be sad... cause of its fewness

Honestly I feel this camp is very much related to me as... one of the 'theme' songs of this camp was The Stand.... Some what my AIM team's theme song....
Though the planned camp song was With everything... In actual.. turned out The Stand was the main song which all the 260 young people were really singing too...
Gone are the days which the AIM buds hanged together every time...

I love this pic... looks nice.. I'm proud of it...
Except for Sarah's Rudolf Sunburned nose... hahaha amusing...

Step 5 : A veil of stress

Exams are over thank Goodness....

But just as exams are over things seem to get worst....
Exam stress practically hides the reality and graveness of things... Exams are an excuse to evade from responsibility...

Ow well.. dont know if i can actually pass everything a not...
hopefully can lar... =) praying really hard


Went out with Katrina Shak today.... Had lunch.....
bought a new plushie for my mom's new car....
Played some pool...

Ben & Nick's Diner.... Its quite a good place great food...
Some are pricey some are cheap...


Last bit for the day... a special recognition for my dear friend...

She's got a few nick names... Grasshopper Ng... Noob Grasshopper... Mel Noob... Noob Mell.... which ever way you like it...Why noob... ask Sam Siah.... Grass hopper why?? here's why

One day on the way back... Jasmyn a fellow class mate was in the car... They went pump petrol on the way back to their houses after a day out together... So Jas saw this huge grass hopper on the dash board... so she asked Mel... "Eh Mel, That grass hopper real or fake wan?? You put there wan ar?" Mel said.. " Huh wad grasshopper.... " Jas, "there... on top there"
Then when Mel realised there was a grass hopper there....
She started screaming and she slammed the break and stop the car....
Imagine.. driving half way.. den AHHHHHHH!!!!
*breaks hard*

Then Jas gave me a call...I could hear Mel screaming in the back ground "Help!!!Help!!!"
really amusing

Step 4 : Sudah insaf

Sudah insaf.. so cut hair =p .... no more pony tail... just short hair heh heh....


So yes.... more food to make people hungry .... The other day went makan sushi with Cheryl


Food has an amazing ability to bring people together... though food tends to make you fat heh...

With Christmas around the corner... its time for gift shopping to bless some one else.. which reminds me... christmas shopping list... got to make one soon =.= ahhh so many things to do.. so little time...

Anyhows apart from cutting my hair last Wed I got a few other items which needed to be changed ...


Law exam is over =) thank God... tomoro is financial management... aka costing paper... last and final paper for the year...following weeks are packed with activity... hopefully can play pool... >.<>
