Step 101 : Delayed...

There's been a huge lag time of my posts...
Things that occur like maybe about
3 days to one week
before its actually posted up...

First to talk about Krispy Cream

Well... their doughnuts are really nice
Pleasantly satisfying in comparison to Jco or Big Apple

Note... No other original glazed doughnuts tastes better than Krispy Creams's
But really... THe most You could have is 2
and 3 is asking for a swift death with sugar on top

But do note that Jco's Assorted doughnuts are much much tastier
Than those I've seen in Krispy Cream or Big apple
No personal fav's but I do recommend Krispy Cream's Original Glazed

Talking about Iced Chocolate
This was pleasant
Sweet but not over whelming
but one word... Ex


Yes Hokkien mee
Location...
Many of YOu who been around DJ/DU are would know
Of the famouse 'Damansara Hokkien Mee'
Just along the row beside the LDP

Well.. I went to their branch at Kota Damansara
And my verdict...
well.. NO...

A bit too watery and lack of infused flavour
By my taste
This is really not of Good standard...
You would do better for these Hokkien Mee
at
Jalan 222

This Pork Mi Hoon
However was a really quite superb
It was peppery
But the soup and the pork along with the mi hoon
A burst of Flavours...
A must try...


This was just ok
Wa Tan Hor
A bit way too flat for me..
But can eat lar...
It lacks a bit of sauce fusion with the noodles

Its often important to fry it in away the noodles
Absorbs the flavour of the soup
But this din't really work lar..
So just
AVERAGe

Step 100 : The art of a Meal

This being the 100 post on this Blog
I thought well..
I should really talk about something
Rather than JUST Food


Well yeah...
This Blog.. is basically 80% dedicated to food
And telling people about the experience
While dining

Yes.. Its meant to make you hungry when
YOU
Blog hope in the middle of the night

But hey...
Food has this amazing power to bring people together
And its power is captured in the enjoyment of food


The company to which you enjoy food with is SOO important
Some times its not the liking for the meal it self
But the enjoyment of the time spent

Where communication is the KEY to a well working friendship
It take 2 party to communicate
and a good mediator for communication
IS
FooD

Well.. Everyone eats you see
But not everyone talks
So you would need something
anything... to begin some where

The art of eating is not gluttony
A person who love food
SHOULD learn not to get tempted by food

This is because everyone who loves food
Should love the company of another more
To share it with them
Because the more Times you are able to eat
The more You get
To share the experience
And enjoy the fellowship..

Step 99 : Its been a while...

It really has been a while since I've had Carls Jr

A very pleasant place to have burgers...
Provided you can stomach the price lar...
But I think its ok to have it lar once in a while

Ok..It would have worked better with Pork
But ow well... Life's like that

We actually were at Mid Valley to check out the 'Nikon show'
I was quite worried we won't get to go
Cause Ms Joyce my lecturer actually scheduled class till 4pm >.<
But she turned up sick.. so she had to cut it short

Step 98 : Round 2 @ RakuZen

Was preety much just too tempted to come back for a 2nd round


Sushi here are quite the very EX....
SO I suggest not coming here for sushi at all
They don't come in twos... everything comes in per peice.. >.<

This beef tepanyaki set
Really.. just good
The beef is so well done... its really worth the money =)

Anyways.. best to come back during lunch time cause their sets are way cheaper....
This set cause RM38 in the evenings and Rm30 during lunch time
And they seemingly gave more meat too
Bigger cut of meat =)


Unajyu don =)
Unagi with rice
it was really quite good in comparison to many others I've had
though I would recommend going for the other stuff more than this
Unless you're such an Unagi Fan =)

Zen would fall some where in between there too
But apparently Rakuzen and Zen are related companies...
So ... I tot mite as well not put it up

Step 97 : Kevin's Birthday @ Rakuzen

It all started at the house
We planned to surprise him
but we Forgot one major part of the plan
Informing him
Haha

We only told him got practice
But we forgot to mention about
PLANNING
to go makan
the rest u can make the story up lar...

So we still went anyways

My pictures for the night was fairly bad yellowish
and slightly porcelain skin
The lighting of the place was very bright yellow
Creating a problem...

But the food =)

This was part of Serene's meal
It sorta had 2 main courses

The other... namely the beef tapanyaki set
Was really quite good
I only had a taste...

Sorry no picture cause it was too hard to save the yellow pic...

This is the Kaki Fry Roll
Basically fried oyster and cucumber and well.. rice lar

It tasted not bad
Though it basically won't be my first choice in the future...
But still worth the flavour....


This one I had
Yakiniku don

Beef on rice =)
It was really quite good
the beef was just well made

And price... quite decent
for the quality and amount you get

My fellow ACCA class mate...
Sadly not any more but...
Here's a convo we had not long ago

Mel : la la la :p so long din eat beef noodle man... haha...
Me : GASP you eat the beef noodle man??!! Carnivore ahhhhh

Not I say wan ler... Nowander these days not many beef noodle shops around....

Step 95 : La Casa Desa Park City @ Water Front

I just realized I forgot to post up the pictures on this place....
La Casa ...


Location Desa Park City

They Served this thing called Bickford's Soda
And this was the Lemon Lime & bitters flavour
Ok it was not bitter at all...
Had a nice lemony punch with a well textured soda
You know how some soda can get a bit tooo gasy that all you get is Gas
This was quite pleasant

Yes I was quite fascinated with the bottle
Yes... I took it home =.=

Ok so Kevin had a set lunch thing
Which came with Kiwi Juice
Creamy Salmon with Spinach Fettucine
and a little
Choco Cake

The pasta was well flavoured...
Arguably better than the string of pastas
Delicious offers


This is what I had
Grilled Lamb w Black Pepper Sauce

Fortunately they served the Black Pepper sauce separately
Cause it wasn't very good
Spoiled the flavour of the well grilled well marinated lamb

To me this is the best grilled lamb of the many places I've visited
But the price doesn't justify its worth
So I probably won't be eating this again any time soon

The place is very peaceful
Overlooking a park
And a pond

But over all a good place to eat at...
