Step 90 : The Ship - Damansara

The Ship...
One of the longest lasting THeme based restaurants
In town.. after Victoria Station

Some things to know about the Ship..
I think they've got 3 outlets around Malaysia...
Or was it 4.. don't recall...
With the oldest one some where in KL

I went out with a good friend of mine Sarah Liew =)
Decided to eat this cause.. well LONG time never ate any steaks already
Apart from cooking at home and experimenting
The last time was Carnivore =)

*Ice lemon tea...*
Standard lar... Nothing special...

*Seafood Chowder*
She had this... I din't really try it though

*Ox-Tail soup*
Ok this ox-tail is nice
But some how.. its very localised...
More like a think Sup Kambing rather than an ox-tail soup
Why ler??
Cause the menu said..
Indonesian Ox-tail soup

*Scallops*
I tried this...
Erm... simple cream base... with some vege topping thing
The scallop was kinda.... SMALL

The ones u get at like sushi restaurants
Were MUCH better...

But well.. this came with Sarah's set..
so eat jer lar kan..

*Escargots*

Alright... these...
Many people don't really know how to savour these
They usually go eeee..... SNAIL... YUCK!!

But... there is actually a technique to eat it
Without actually freaking ur self out...
and going.. eeeee.... what was that.....!!!!
Den pui here pui there...

If u are afraid of trying...
COME with ME...
I'll teach u how to eat =.=

Ok.. basically...
Sarah and I ordered the same thing
Charbroiled Rib Eye Steak

The only big difference was...
Her's had some green peppers aka EVIL capsicum sauce
One of the evil veges after Cucumbers....

But my steak.. was just...
AWESOME....

Haven't had such a steak in a long time
Well grilled...


Very Very juicy....
On top of that it was a very nice cut..
Sufficient Fat...
Nicely Marinated...
Sweet salted burst of flavours...
Exactly what I was hoping for the night =)


Last thing for the set was this weird coconut thing
Din't like it at all

Overall.. Dining at the Ship has been a pleasant visit...
I hope to go back again soon.. =)

Do try their sizzling steak too..
Quite well worth it...
Rm36 i think for the sizzling steak...

I like!! =)
Enjoyed the company too

Camp fire.. was great...
Ok to those who have no clue wad COD Camp Fire's
All about
In short its the first collaborated event
Between Missionets, Royal Rangers and CY


SO yes... the message was (summarized)
We need to stand for what we belive in...

den its right there

I was just thinking...
Maybe I should have taken a pic of the fire when it was like...

After the cg time of preparing...
There was formation of gangs...
This was the sapu butter on bread for Hot Dogs later Gang

There was a Nikon Camera Gang...
Pairs Gang... =.=
CW gangs from all over the place
And some mix bunches

The food we had were
Burgers.... Hot Dogs...
Cup muffin thingy as u see above...
Potato...
Wings...
And
CORN

Overall... Ok lar....
Din't expect much
But was surely REALY hungry by the time we ate

1. Tangerine Marine (Orange dudes... REALLY Orange...)Tangerine + Marine
2. Hairforce One (I believe the name speaks for itself...) Hair + Airforce One
3. Second Aid ("First" Aid... "Second" Aid.. Get it?) Replace First with Second
4. Counting Terrorist (1...2...3...BOOM...) Replace Counter with Counting
5. Nuclear Misai (Radioactive facial hair that pack quite a punch..) Replace Missile with Misai
6. Kapal Sink (Ship goes dowwwnn.... Sounds like somebody's political career doesn't it? ;) ) Homophone of Karpal Singh
7. Suicide Barber (Lots of "Hair" and "Misai" to cut here eh? ) Replace Bomber with Barber
8. Nazi Lemak (Hail Sambal!) Replace Nasi with Nazi
9. Squating Squad (Up...Down...Up...Down...Up..) Squating + Squad
10. Centurion Egg (Centurion Centurion sat on the wall....) Centurion + Century Egg

These how ever were the team names available...
The egg you see on top could only come from one team...

Hmm this is one of the plays I really enjoyed
I watched it 3 times..
One with Kevin, Keane, Kel, Melissa
Two with mom, Serene and a bunch
Three with Jas, Mk, Bent, Emmy, Anna, Jamie, Kenny, Adrian and Michelle

I thought the actors were ok...
Not superb or anything
But entertaining lar..
The song were funny
And that one Major Sabar was realy farni
haha
And so were the others lar
If You missed it... poor thing..

This one the part time show happening before the actual thing
Constipated Emmy o.O
Nyahahahaha....

Hmm...
Things has been.. well.. exhausting..
My knees feels super tired..
Like really wan...
My body feels like it can shut down...
None the less...
must pull through right??

Last week end.. spend some time with Jon Yee
We had Kim Gary...


Lychee with aloe Vera...
I love this drink.. Very Fun =)

We shared a french toast as well
On of the okok ones around...
Many people these days
Kinda fail lar make french toast... =.=

These days...
Rest is not easy to come by...
What more peace and enjoyment right...

But at the end friends are the best lar...

I've been re-classifying friends....
As more are mere acquaintances than friends
With time... everything is clear lar...

Last week end.. on of those 'free' weekends...
manage to go makaning with Kenny and Rachel C...
Too bad no more H behind... =p
haha she mite kill me =)


Neways.. this is that girl's fav thingy..
Important.. to take note...
Take her out.. means must buy this for her..
After she merajuk... den gg =p

Beef Udon is good stuff...
I like it lar if that means anything...

Well yes she's NOW available in NZ...
Hmm personally its really sad to see her leave

Its sad when you lose some one whom You really can rely on
In terms of opinion, support, and friendship...
ok.. lose as in gone over seas... not kaput =.=
ish... anyways she'll be back... SOON... =p


A bunch of us went to the air port to send her off...
Haha... 3 DSLR's followed her around..

Step 59 : Post Exam period

Ahh its been a while since I could sit down and think of what to write carefully


My first time hiking...
Was quite a challenge at first...
But I am appreciative of all the friends who kept encouraging me to go on
Sadly when we got to the top...
It was misty and we couldn't really get like super clear shots...

Hmm... More new gear =p
Sold off my 18-200mm nikkor lens in exchange got a Tammy..

This is Super cool... QUality of the pictures rock... You'll see more from this lens soon =)

The past few weeks...
We had a lot of things going on in CY Among which... A treasure hunt... Photo shoots...

Such an interesting time...
everyone storming around Bangsar Village...
Doing different different things Searching for the stuff for their groups

There was on particular one which said....
Look for the person wearing this shirt and this shoes
Then u must go get his signature or something...
But apparently some of the teams mis read the info and asked him
 "eh can we take your picture"... haha

This here is Wild fire

Musicians, Singers and worship leaders of Calvary Youth
Though actually rite... Banyak orang missing from the picture....
haha My self included cause .. I took the picture =)

Just Yesterday we had Mabel's Farewell at youth Haha..
we gave her a t-shirt, a medal... and a bunch of digital content Which I think... was great lar..
 Haha it was hilarious ... Especially the GUNNY sack Video...

This was the plan...
.The CA leaders drew up a plan... and executed it...
Just because she was leaving....
They wanted to KIDNAP her haha.. o.O

I hope she was blessed...
 All the work and time spent on putting all these together I
think helped the leaders to bond closer as well =)

That night... went to Annabelle's place for her partay...
She growed older today.. so have to celebrate mar rite...
 Heh heh.... 21...
 I din't really think of taking much pictures.. cause erm.. basically
 Everyone was just sitting around chatting and eating....

Got one or two.. but I think I'll not post them up lar...
Good fellowship... but thats about it...
 Food was ok.. =)... not bad...

Talking about food.... Here are good things to try....

Popoye's Chicken... Brian Siew and I agree that these are the bestt weii
Brian thinks rite... maybe they put some sort of drug into these chicken
Cause you can just go eat and eat and eat them... soo good..
Must TRY their chicken tenders... =)

This here is Pj Town Dry Pan mee One of the best pan mee around town
You wanna go let me know I'll bring ya Don't ask me to tell you how to go cause...
I scared I tell u wrong direction haha... =p

Lasts but not least... The morning porridge in CRC.... Haha... =p

It really is not bad
Especially the one I had last Sunday
