I din't manage to get a picture of the bride and groom
But manage to get pictures with the bridegroom's sisters....

Here's a funny thing that happened
For the night
Wei Chin asked me to sing with her for the brother
Technically the song..
She could do all on her own
But she was worried and scared..
So right... early before the wedding ...
Her brother Donald Ng
Asked me
"Eh Darren... how long u know my sister already ar...."
So I was quite er.. ???
"Quite long already lar.... WHY ar??"
He went...
"Hmmm... Later I want to talk to You"
WAHHH TAKUT OWH!!!
No wander ELMO MATI

Now for the stuff....
I manage to get some of these shots cause I was there earlier
Ok.. now for the rest of the people pictures

I think we all really throughly enjoyed our selves
Well at least I did
although there wasn't much going on
And the song I had to sing was.. >.<
Everything else... was really good =)
Now to the FOOD!!!
The place where the dinner was held was know as
Oriental Banquet
Its near British American Tabacco in Pj...
Some would know that place as the Roftran roundabout
The wine served wasn't that fantastic..
BUT it was surely Sweet... =)
This is their 4 season dish thing I think
Don't remember the name...
The thingy on the right... which looks like a hunk of fried stuff
Is actually Soft shell crab
And the top was a mix of vege with baby abalone...
Dish tasted ok...
Nothing fancy but unique presentation for sure
Hmm the shark fin's soup wasn't fantastic
I would think its quite low grade
This one's like the lower ones...
It was weird coloured
And heavy CRAB meat more than anything else
Yeah can drink lar
It tasted ok..
But not fantastic lar
Then came the dish I was anticipating the whole night
The roasted Piglet
BEcause most of those on the table don't actually like this
I WAS SOOOO HAPPY...
I ate close to 10 peices of porky =)
Hehe.. ok Its true I generally like pork
But I still got to criticize it fairly
It was only a 4 out of 10
It was less fragrant than most
and very very oily in comparison to the better ones I've had
The guys saved the head for Cheah cause he was late...
Lols...
There was the fish which I din't take a picture of
Then this...
The baby abalone and the mushroom
Tasted fantastic..
The sauce however was weak
A bit less flavourful
The prawns.. was AWESOME
It was wine-ed a little
And the prawns were fresh
Nothing beats fresh prawns...
Well cooked...
The rest din't really eat much
I remember I ate like 4 prawns or something o.O
This one I din't touch was full already by then
There was the standard desert after that too
Lycee longan thingy
Fun and enjoyable times
Thats its for this wedding

This is the beef Goulash from The Soup Spoon
Its all over singapore...
Not very cheap though
But way awesome....
The set meal comes with a half sandwich
Its really quite big...
Thats like 1.5 inch thick
The one I ordered had smoke salmon
My bro's one had chicken
So yeah
The place serves all kinda soups lar.. all must try.. ;)
Looking forward to go there again

My brother and I decided to buy this huge bottle of jelly beans
At this place called Candy Empire
At Harbour front / Vivo City Mall
The 2 malls are connected but I'm not sure where is the shop exactly...
So ... Life is like this bottle of JellY beans
Some taste good some are just ok.. some are weird/bad
Everyday.. You'll get a different flavoured jelly bean
36 flavours all together I think...
U never really get the same flavour 2 days in a row.. ;)

The beef doesn't taste as good..
Soup quite plain Taugeh and soup taste...

Only the locals know where to get them

This is one of the local noodles..
Well I'm not as sure wether its really local or not
But one thing for sure
I've never heard or seen it in KL
San Lao Hor Fun .. pronounced as San LAW not la-o
it does not at all have the chinese flavour blast that you get off
Hokkien mee and such
But this tastes plain simple
Hor fun , tau geh, slight broth.. and fish slices
You really need to develop a taste for food in Singapore
Well the big restaurant stuff never goes wrong
But its the food court the places u go to save ur every SGD
That you got to bare with just so you can buy that extra item =)
Look for Everton Park Food court
Or
Spottis wood road ... there is a show by the corner
Look out for it if you would like to try this ;)

Ok its not that huge
But its way free and empty during the day time..
Their menu contains a variety of stuff
Pastas, Sandwiches, Steaks
There is a Rack of Lamb for RM36.90 on the menu
Cannot really remember the price
Set lunch starts at 12pm-3pm
They have a few things...
And they are decently prices
All comes with both Ice Lemon Tea and Mushroom Soup
This is one of the sandwich set in the Set lunch
This was about RM 16 I think
Really quite filling
If you are hungry and want sandwiches
I belive these will fill you up

Yes I dint know it was called ratatouille till my friend told me
A grilled beef patty as a steak is preety dry...
But Over all .. ok lar.. if u can get past the dryness
This Cake is know as Chocolate Muse Cake
BAsically its just a super rich choco cream cake la
It makes your hair stand if you whack it all on your own
Unless u massively sweet tooth person

I was just talking to the boss of the place
His name is Xanthus Kong
He said at the very least the burger is 2.5 x a chillies burger
No idea how fantastic it tastes
But I heard its HUGE...
And probably the biggest burger in Asia
It feeds about 3 lar

Things that occur like maybe about
3 days to one week
before its actually posted up...
First to talk about Krispy Cream
Well... their doughnuts are really nice
Pleasantly satisfying in comparison to Jco or Big Apple
Note... No other original glazed doughnuts tastes better than Krispy Creams's
But really... THe most You could have is 2
and 3 is asking for a swift death with sugar on top
But do note that Jco's Assorted doughnuts are much much tastier
Than those I've seen in Krispy Cream or Big apple
No personal fav's but I do recommend Krispy Cream's Original Glazed
Talking about Iced Chocolate
This was pleasant
Sweet but not over whelming
but one word... Ex
Yes Hokkien mee
Location...
Many of YOu who been around DJ/DU are would know
Of the famouse 'Damansara Hokkien Mee'
Just along the row beside the LDP
Well.. I went to their branch at Kota Damansara
And my verdict...
well.. NO...
A bit too watery and lack of infused flavour
By my taste
This is really not of Good standard...
You would do better for these Hokkien Mee

This Pork Mi Hoon
However was a really quite superb
It was peppery
But the soup and the pork along with the mi hoon
A burst of Flavours...
A must try...
This was just ok
Wa Tan Hor
A bit way too flat for me..
But can eat lar...
It lacks a bit of sauce fusion with the noodles
Its often important to fry it in away the noodles
Absorbs the flavour of the soup
But this din't really work lar..
